Arabidopsis thaliana · mesófilo foliar
The leaf mesophyll cell, where photosynthesis happens. It has chloroplasts and peroxisomes on top of the machinery it shares with the animal cell, and that is why it can fix carbon and also pay the price of doing it wrong when oxygen gets in where carbon dioxide should.
